Recently finished my install of my TriPro with bumper camera. While I tested basic camera functions before I buried all my cabling, I did not test all functions. After completion and the next few days learning the system, I realized that my rear camera's parking grid was not adjustable for width or depth. Also discovered that my front bumper camera did have that feature. My conclusion; I installed them in the wrong locations and would need to swap. Well, they are completely different cameras, cables, and even ports on the head unit. This would entail pulling all of my cabling, back thru firewall and body penetrations, etc. I decided to contact WB support, and was informed that the rear camera doesn't have that feature! Why?!? Is there not enough demand for a basic feature? Interesting that my front bumper camera has this feature. Has this subject been brought up before, as my search results have revealed nothing. Come on WB, this seems like something a software update can address. Thank you for reading this until the end.

First of all I can't believe that there are no Mustang posts ... I basically got this as a dash cam and so that I don't bang my front lip into a parking curb. I don't need this for backup cam but I did have one on my 2014 Mustang that didn't have a reverse camera.

I have a few questions if anyone knows how to address them. The first is that I have a convertible so I really don't want to use the rubber straps on the oem mirror... Just as a precaution that I feel like someone might steal it. So I bought a Wolfbox replacement bracket. If I take off the old mirror there is a cable plugged into it which I am assuming is just for the auto-dimming(yes/no?) If I am removing the OEM mirror .. wont need to dim anything so that should be good. I am just hoping it doesn't do anything else.

My other question is suggestions for how I get the cable for the reverse camera into the trunk? I have read you can slip it in through one of the license plate lights? Does seem very clean but open for ideas and suggestions.

Thought of a third question ... any issues with 3 cables going through the passage A pillar? I haven't taken the trim off but I feel like I will be adding a lot of wires. Guess I wont know till I try... figure I will wrap them all up to keep it as clean as possible.

Thanks for listening and any suggestions!

Hi everyone,

Just installed the G900 Pro in my vehicle. The video clarity is incredible, but there is a major UI layout issue for those of us who drive on the left side of the road (UK, Australia, Japan, NZ).

The Issue

GPS Speed is permanently locked to the far left of the screen.

Clock/Date sits on the right.

Because RHD drivers sit on the right side of the cabin, forcing our eyes to travel across the entire length of a 12 inch mirror just to check our speed is a safety hazard. It takes our eyes off the road much longer than necessary. The clock is useful, but speed is the critical driving metric we need in our immediate line of sight.

Suggested Solution

Menu Option: UI Layout: Left Hand Drive / Right Hand Drive (or Default / Mirrored)

Logic: Selecting "Right Hand Drive" would simply swap the screen positions of the GPS Speed block and the Clock/Date block.

Hi - I've had the Wolfbox G900TriPro for about 3 months now and I have noticed some issues that really keep this product from being it's own best possible version. Most are software side - some simple menu options would fix.

Tri-view Options

You can cycle through all of the cameras, Front, Back, Cabin, and then what i call Tri-view, which is all 3 at once.

This should be customizable. We need a menu option to choose which camera where. Alternatively sometimes I just need a dual-view (which is not currently an option when a 3rd camera is plugged in) and maybe one camera takes up 2/3 and the other 1/3.

Example: I would like to use my rear camera on the left 2/3s of the screen for rear view mirror and the right 1/3 just the cabin camera - say to keep an eye on my baby. All of this would be some simple menu options for functions that are already available.

Field of View for the Rear Camera

The rear camera is just way too zoomed out. Some people mount on the inside and some on the outside and that can change perspective. Wolfbox's essentially replace the rear view mirror and it doesn't feel like a rear view mirror.

Currently its a fixed variable. Just make it a menu option so we can choose. Maybe a slider 60-100?

Brightness

This is my biggest issue. On max brightness the Wolfbox is still way too dim. Using as my rear view mirror it can be really hard to see during the daytime. There is got to be a way to crank up the gamma, I can't imagine it's a hardware issue for the screen. Yes my brightness setting is max and I have the latest firmware. Seems to be a common issue.

Thanks for reading! Separately, we really need a upgraded rear cam option, with higher resolution and much much better night vision. I'd be willing to pay for that upgrade because again this replaces your rear view mirror and the current camera doesn't cut it at all for something so important.
